Soil Mixing
Cement-Bentonite soil mixing is used to install cut off walls up to 10 meters deep using a deep trencher with specially designed tools.
The soil-bentonite or soil cement is mixed by breaking up the soil without removing it and injecting a binder and thoroughly mixing the binder with the soil.
Cement-Bentonite mixing is used to install cut off walls to stop underground water movement from dams or canals or to seal off landfills and contaminated sites.
It’s also used to increase the bearing capacity of subgrades and factory floors.
The trenches can be steel reinforced to improve strength.
